What is a Seer?

Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio
The higher the seer rating, the more efficient the air
conditioner. It amounts to the BTU (British Thermal Units)
divided by watt-hours. In other words, the seer compares
how efficiently the energy being input is being used.
